JTVCC Building 20 Expansion

Building 20 at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna opened in 2000 as part of a 600 bed major expansion and contains support spaces for the connected Secure Housing Units (SHU). The proposed expansion project will consist of a 9,005 square foot addition on the east side of Building 20 and will provide eight new classrooms for offender programs.

The scope of work provided by Landmark’s staff includes: topographic/existing conditions survey, wetland delineation report, civil engineering and site design including layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, permits and agency process involving the State Fire Marshal, DelDOT, New Castle County and Kent County DPW.
