Melissa C. Spratt has joined the company as an Accounting & Financial Support Coordinator in the corporate office in Newark, Delaware. Melissa brings years of engineering-related experience to her new position at the site/civil engineering, environmental science, and land surveying consulting firm.
Melissa is currently working on completing an MBA in Accounting at University of Maryland in College Park and has an A.A.S. degree in accounting from Cecil College in North East, Maryland. Melissa possesses a vast knowledge of accounting and financial principles applicable to civil engineering and has a combined 22 years of work experience at Karins and Associates and Duffield Associates.
Melissa and her husband reside in Elkton, Maryland, where they have raised four children. Hobbies include painting and water sports and she enjoys having the home where everyone congregates to have fun. Melissa “loves to learn new things and share her knowledge with others” and says that “helping others” is one of her greatest attributes. She remains a firm believer that “each day you are leading by example” and that “whether you realized it or not – whether it’s positive or negative – you are influencing those around you.”
