HRYCI Kitchen Addition & Sally Port

The new 40,000 square foot, two-story kitchen addition was added to an existing section of the expanded Howard R. Young Correctional Institution (HRYCI) in the City of Wilmington. Design for relocation of the secure sally port was part of the kitchen addition project. Construction laydown areas and new, temporary 14-foot wide haul road for construction was also designed.

Landmark provided existing conditions surveys, site design, stormwater management BMPs, erosion & sediment control, agency processing, floodplain application, and construction-phase support services.
